BYOME LABS is a French deep-tech startup specializing in in vitro microbiome analysis applied to cosmetics, dermocosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The company works with finished-product brands, ingredient manufacturers and retailers to help them understand and improve the impact of their products on the microbiome. They collaborate closely with R&D, marketing and regulatory teams, and their expertise covers the skin, scalp, oral and vaginal microbiomes.

BYOME DERMA is their flagship innovation: a first-of-its-kind rapid skin-microbiome test designed for use directly at the point of sale.
Developed by the BYOME LABS team, BYOME DERMA enables:
• sampling and measuring the skin microbiome in just a few minutes at the point of sale,
• analyzing microbial diversity using antigen test strips (similar to COVID tests),
• recommending the most compatible skincare products thanks to an AI co-developed with dermatologists.
