We are pleased to announce that Camille Bello has joined the Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI) as Membership and Communication Manager. Camille brings over a decade of experience in journalism, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement, along with a strong European profile. She most recently served as a Media Relations Officer at the European Space Agency (ESA), where she coordinated international media coverage, crafted strategic messaging, and supported scientists in communicating their work effectively to both public and press. Prior to ESA, Camille worked as a science journalist and producer at Euronews, where she covered major developments in health, technology, and science policy. She also created, produced, and anchored The Good News Roundup, a weekly show highlighting positive international stories, which became one of Euronews’ most-watched YouTube series.
I’m excited to join PRI as Membership and Communication Manager. I’ve always loved science, and the microbiome’s potential to transform health has fascinated me for years. I look forward to supporting the PRI community and spotlighting the groundbreaking work shaping this field.
A native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and French, Camille brings a dynamic, collaborative spirit and a deep passion for translating complex science into accessible, compelling narratives. In her role at PRI, Camille will lead the development and execution of communication and membership strategies, working to engage and grow our membership community while amplifying PRI’s voice across the microbiome and regulatory science landscape. She will manage internal and external communications, contribute to the organization of strategic events like the annual Pharmabiotics Conference, and foster partnerships with key stakeholders in the microbiome field.
The PRI Executive Committee and team are delighted to welcome Camille on board as our new Communication and Membership Manager. With her experience and expertise, we look forward to strengthening our voice within the field and growing an engaged, dynamic PRI community.
